Two ceramic mugs with textured leaf patterns and greenish-blue glaze, placed on a wooden bench outdoors.

Handmade and unique …

First and foremost: every item is handmade.

I use a grey stoneware clay, and all of my pots (that’s what we Potters call them!) are thrown on the wheel and then trimmed to perfect their shape or to sometimes add a foot to them. They are then bisque fired in my kiln to about 1000 degrees to enable glaze to be applied - I generally use a blue rutile glaze (sometimes I feel in a turquoise mood!) - and they are then fired a second time to 1240 degrees.

So whether you are looking for something special to use every day or more unique items from my collections (which are released two or three times a year!) you’ve come to the right place.

Please note that at certain times of the year some stock items may have to be made to order!
